The Minnesota Senate DFL noted on Twitter on May 9th, that with the passage of the Veterans & Military Affairs Budget, Senator Nicole Mitchell became the first legislator in Minnesota history to author and pass a major budget bill in their first year of service.

We can’t wait to see what she accomplishes in future years!
